Terms of Service
Applimate™ is currently in closed beta, shared with a limited group of testers ahead of public release. These terms cover your use of the Applimate™ app and this website during the beta. They will be expanded before public launch. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
What Applimate is
Applimate™ helps you keep track of your appliances, their warranties, and their service history — reminders, records, and a place to store related documents. It is a tracking and record-keeping tool.
What Applimate is not
Applimate™ does not sell, extend, or guarantee any warranty, and is not a party to the warranty between you and an appliance's manufacturer or seller. We don't process warranty claims on your behalf, and we can't guarantee a manufacturer or service center will honor a warranty just because Applimate™ shows it as active. Always confirm coverage directly with the manufacturer or seller before relying on it.
Your account
- The information you give us when signing up should be accurate and kept up to date
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself and for activity on your account
- Tell us at support@applimate.in if you think your account has been accessed without your permission
Acceptable use
Use Applimate™ for its intended purpose — tracking your own appliances and warranties. Don't misuse the service: don't try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, don't upload anything illegal or infringing, and don't use it to harm or impersonate anyone else.
Your content
You own the appliance details, documents, and invoices you add. By uploading them, you give us permission to store and process them for the purpose of providing the app's features to you. You're responsible for having the right to upload whatever you add.
Beta status
This is a beta: features may change, break, or be removed, and the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. We'll do our best to keep your data intact, but back up anything irreplaceable (like scanned invoices) separately during the beta.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Applimate™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including a missed warranty deadline, a denied claim, or data loss during the beta.
Ending your account
You can stop using Applimate™ at any time. We may suspend or end access for accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable-use section above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the beta evolves and before public launch. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
